Camera Tracking Vehicle Options
A camera tracking vehicle, also known as a camera car, is a specialised vehicle equipped with mounting systems and stabilisation technology designed to capture smooth and dynamic moving shots for film and video production. These vehicles are frequently used to film chase scenes, action sequences, and other dynamic shots that require precise and controlled motion.
Typically, a camera tracking vehicle features a variety of mounting options, including roof-mounted camera rigs, stabilised camera platforms, and robotic arms, allowing for versatile positioning and movement of the camera. Ours are no different and we have a comprehensive range of options to fit any budget.
Our camera tracking vehicles incorporate gyroscopic stabilisers, remote-controlled camera heads, and other sophisticated technology to further enhance the quality and precision of the images we capture. Motorcycles aside all our vehicles are designed to accommodate a camera operator and other crew members, providing a safe and comfortable working environment during shoots.
All of our set ups come as complete solutions. This means vehicle, precision driver or rider, remote head, vibration isolators, remote arm or tower along with the technicians and operators required to run the requested configuration from under one roof. We provide full insurance, risk assessments with vehicle rigging certifications, and have been vetted and approved by First Option Safety for our camera tracking vehicle set ups. We only work with the most experienced precision drivers, riders and technicians to provide full proof safe working practices. In certain situations we will work with qualified grips for any type of camera rigging that we do not provide and comes under their remit.
